GREENpicks: Google's Green Initiatives
Since 2007, Google has invested nearly $50 million to support the development of technology to find a renewable-energy source for electricity cheaper than coal, including better mirrors for solar-thermal plants and solar-powered turbines for generating electricity. The solar turbines Google is developing are actually gas turbines that, instead of running on natural gas, are being modified to be powered with solar energy. Google has tapped two independent green-tech companies: eSolar and BrightSource, for the projects.
Very interesting...any suggestings of other natural by products good for plants?
